Canterbury Field Study.

Day one of this unit, we were sent off into Canterbury with the aim of capturing modern life in a city. It was a nice entry into the unit and a chance to mix with new people and discuss initial ideas. After leaving the campus we headed over to Canterbury prison where we were told we couldn't take any photos and after a long discussion with security at the reception they allowed us to take photos from the street. We then headed towards my secondary school; Chaucer Technology School, where I noticed that Canterbury wasn't a very nice place as the streets were covered in litter and graffiti, a massive contrast from the city centre.
